A Passion for Quality Horses

Vareston Equine Ranch is an Australian horse operation built on a genuine love of horses and horsemanship. We specialise in sound, well-mannered Appaloosas, Paint Horses, Quarter Horses and ponies — and in matching each of them with the right rider or family.

Behind the scenes, running a good yard takes far more than time in the saddle. Our team brings real depth across horsemanship, equine management, animal husbandry and land care, so every horse that comes through our gates is handled well, assessed honestly and prepared properly for its next home.

How We Work

We believe buying a horse should be straightforward and honest. Every horse is described as it truly is, you’re always welcome to come and meet it in person, and we actively encourage pre-purchase veterinary checks so you can buy with confidence.

• Honest descriptions — what you read is what you get.
• Temperament first — every horse handled and assessed for a calm, willing nature.
• Viewings welcome — meet, handle and ride before you decide.
• Vet checks encouraged — buy with total peace of mind.
• Transport help — we assist with safe float transport Australia-wide.

Whether you’re after your first pony, a reliable trail partner or a stand-out show prospect, we’d love to help you find your perfect match.
