Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about buying a horse from Vareston Equine Ranch.

How do I buy a horse from Vareston Equine Ranch?
Start by sending an enquiry through our contact form or giving us a call about the horse you like. We will send extra photos, videos and full details, arrange a viewing if you would like one, and help you through vet checks, payment and transport.
Can I come and view the horse first?
Absolutely. Viewings are welcome by appointment so we can have the horse ready for you to meet, handle and ride. Just contact us to arrange a suitable time.
Do you allow pre-purchase vet checks?
Yes, and we encourage them. You are welcome to arrange an independent pre-purchase veterinary examination with a vet of your choice, and we will make the horse available for the inspection.
How does transport work?
We can help you organise professional float transport anywhere in Australia. The cost depends on distance and carrier; we will point you to reliable transporters and coordinate pick-up.
How do I secure a horse and pay?
A deposit secures the horse and takes it off the market while you finalise the vet check and transport, with the balance settled before collection or delivery. We will confirm the exact details with you when you enquire.
What information do you provide about each horse?
On enquiry we share the age, height, breeding, temperament, level of training and any history we have, along with plenty of photos and video so you know exactly what you are getting.
Are the horses suitable for beginners or children?
It varies from horse to horse. Some of our ponies and quieter horses suit beginners and children, while others suit more experienced riders. Tell us your experience level and we will point you to the right ones.
